Practical information for Zoom participants:
For the meeting the online video platform ‘Zoom’ is used which is easy to use. You can participate over the internet from all over the world with PC, Mac, Linux and iOS-phone/tablet or Android.
Audio/Video:
If you would like to check if your audio/video is functioning well, please arrive 15 minutes before the meetings starts. After the check, you’re welcome to hang out, or to turn off video & sound until start time. However, you can also already test your audio/video in advance via this link: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362283-Testing-computer-or-device-audio
Some practical information when your audio / video does not want to work (also not after giving permission to Zoom to use the Audio/Video), is that Zoom might need to be updated (in case you already got it installed on your device previously). Uninstalling Zoom completely and then clicking the Zoom url link above again leads to automatically downloading Zoom again and this might solve the issue. Otherwise it could be that your PC system preferences block Zoom from using the audio/video. You can change this by going to the system preferences of your PC/device and change the settings. Muting/speaking:
All participants are muted by default. If you would like to speak you can use the chatbox to type your name (you can select send to ‘everyone’ so it will be visible for everyone). In this way there is clear order of appearance of people that would like to speak and we avoid people talking and un-muting at the same time. When the person before you finished speaking, you can un-mute yourself by clicking on the microphone on the lower left hand of the screen and start speaking. When you finished speaking you can Re-mute by clicking on the microphone again.
Recording:
The meeting will be recorded and shared on YouTube and possibly the website ( http://isaacshapiro.org/) afterwards. If you prefer not to be visible or recorded you can let the host know during the meeting (before you speak) by using the chatbox. The host can either leave the video on Isaac so there will be only audio or the recording can be paused completely so your sharing will not be in the recording at all. If somehow afterwards you do feel uncomfortable being visible/audible in the meeting you can send an email to onlinemeetings@isaacshaprio.org and that part can cut out the recording (it is preferred however to know this beforehand).

RETREAT IN MARGARET RIVER
Beloveds,
So amazing to have time together in this love affair with Truth. The retreat this year was exquisite with tangible deepening in all of us.I and all the participants so enjoyed that we will hold another in 2024.
June 16th-23rd 2024
During the retreat I said that the dates for next year would be March, but I have had to change those dates to Sunday the 16th to Sunday the 23rd of June as there is a price difference of $2500 for the earlier dates. Also the food costs are increasing by 10 % and in order to make the retreat viable, I had to raise the prices.
Silent Retreat
This is an invitation to be conversationally silent between meetings, and give yourself the opportunity to simply be with yourself without the usual distractions that require our attention.
The beauty of being in this field, is that nothing needs to be changed, fixed or eliminated. It is a non-dualistic, non-judgemental enquiry into our present being. Everything happens through the agency of awareness.

Here are the details. Seven days of meeting at Surfpoint, Margaret River, WA. Two days of 2hr meetings daily and four days of three 2hr meetings. Optional: two Feldenkrais classes daily.

Cuisine
Delicious gourmet meals using organic produce where possible and afternoon tea are provided. The cuisine will be vegetarian with eggs. Fish served twice during the week. Vegan and gluten free meals are provided. Please advice if you have different dietary needs and please keep it simple.

Cancellation
If you cancel before 1st May, then $ 100 is non-refundable. After that your deposit of AUS$350 will be non-refundable.
Room-share
Due to the size of the venue, only limited single accommodation is available.
So if you know already that you do want to come, good to get bookings in early.
As most of the accommodation is shared rooms, please let me know if there is someone you would like to share with.

Feldenkrais
There will be taped Feldenkrais lessons played at no extra charge. The Feldenkrais method invites a natural grace and freedom of movement, by being aware of what you are doing while you are doing it. Awareness Through Movement lessons invite a playful and gentle learning environment to reveal unconscious habits and patterns of movement, thinking and feeling. The organic learning that occurs is accumulative.
This is a unique opportunity to experience a substantial shift in your embodiment.
All ages and stages are welcome. If interested please bring loose clothes and a blanket or mat.
How to get to Surfpoint Resort ?
From Margaret River turn west into Wallcliffe Road and continue on for about 10 km, crossing Caves Road about mid way.
Travel on around the Prevelly township -do not turn off at Surfers Point Road. Keep following Wallcliffe Road till you see Surfpoint Resort signposted and turn left into Riedle Drive. Continue 100 metres and you see the venue on the right: Surfpoint Resort, 12 Riedle Drive, Gnarabup, Margaret River, WA 6285.

Retreat 2024
The retreat 2024 will be held at Jonathan Seminarhotel, Kellerstraße 5, 83339 Chieming/Hart, Germany.
The first week is from Sunday June 30th to Sunday July 7th; the second week from Sunday July 7th to Sunday 14th July 2024.
You are welcome to book for either week, or both.
Silent retreat/celebration

In the recognition with who we are -awareness with the capacity to know- there is peace in every moment, and all problems are recognised as not existant.
Schedule of the week
The first day there will be an evening meeting, the next two days there will be two meetings, the next four days there will be three meetings and the last day a morning meeting.
The meetings will be in English with translation into German.
Investment
The investment is twofold: you pay for your meals and accommodation to Jonathan and you pay a contribution to me.
For the prices of different types of accommodation, please see the attached price list (pdf). The price list also informs you about a possible price correction when food/energy prices raise significantly or in the case of more VAT on catering, about the cancellation policy and about bankdetails of Jonathan.
Contribution Isaac
My contribution –paid in cash at the beginning of each week, or if you are coming for the whole event, at the beginning of the event- will remain the same as it was in 2018: € 320 per week, if you do both, € 40 discount, € 600.
If anyone is genuinely struggling financially, please contact me and we can see what we can workout with my portion. The fund that used to exist is finished, but we can see what is possible.
How to book/make a reservation
You make your reservation at the Jonathan website .
At the Contact Form you fill in your name, address, email-address etc., which week(s) you want to come and in “For your request” your first and second choice of accommodation.
To complete your reservation you pay the deposit (€ 150 per week, € 300 for both weeks to the bankaccount mentioned in the price list.
If within two weeks after you hear from Jonathan about your request and you do not pay your deposit, your place in the retreat -including your accommodation will be given free again without any further reminder to you.
After receiving your deposit Jonathan confirms your reservation. If you can’t be there for the whole week, you will still be charged for a week.
Participation is limited to 120 participants per week. Lunch at Sundays 7th and 14th is included.
Payment at check-in
Payment at the beginning of each week, or if you are coming for the whole event at the beginning of the event: you pay to Jonathan the amount for the accommodation/food minus your deposit. In cash or with card.
At the check-in you pay to me the contribution, in cash.
Check-in starts 14:00 hrs. Sunday June 30th; your rooms and beds are available at 15:00 hrs.
Feldenkrais

Take the train to Traunstein. At the railway station you take a taxi. Cheapest at the moment is London taxi Traunstein, phone 0861-90000749 (ca. € 25).
